Spring has sprung. With the sun becoming less shy, doors and windows across Melbourne are being thrown open.
The upswing in temperatures means that finally we can get back to the important things in life – namely lounging in parks. With snacks of course.
Perhaps it would be wise to prep yourself for the possibly of having a makeshift picnic. Slip some cutlery into your bag. Don’t forget a bottle opener. Most councils have regulations restricting public drinking. The City of Yarra permits sociable drinking between the hours of 9am – 9pm. Check out their list of parks where you can sit back and sip on wine here.
In the words of Julia Child – ‘A party without cake is just a meeting’ – so remember to add something sweet to your picnic menu.
